Mission

The ECLSO (European Contact Lens Society of Ophthalmologists) is a federation of twenty-four national contact lens societies of ophthalmologists. The society is registered with the Registry of Associations in Munich.

The mission of the ECLSO is to promote contact lens practice and the study of related ocular surface diseases, both on a scientific and a professional level, focusing specifically on issues concerning ophthalmologists in Europe.

In addition to this, the ECLSO offers educational EBO accredited courses for young ophthalmologists.
Please note that membership of the ECLSO is restricted to ophthalmologists only.
