Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the organising committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to attend our 43rd ECLSO annual meeting that will take place in Munich on October 25-26, 2013.
Munich is the 7th most beautiful city in the world and counts a lot of historically important places. Besides being the capital of Bavaria, it is a cosmopolitan city with a big heart, full of culture and joie de vivre. The congress venue, Holiday Inn Munich City Centre, is located in the heart of Munich and will be the perfect place to share and discuss knowledge on Contact Lenses and Ocular Surface Diseases.
Outstanding lecturers will offer presentations on contact lenses, care products and ocular surface diseases. This year we will also focus on pediatric contactology, including myopia progression, aphakia management and other controversial issues. In addition, we will count on your kind cooperation to send abstracts on original new findings.
On Saturday, in parallel to the main session, we will provide a full day Contact Lens Course for residents and young ophthalmologists organised by Wolfgang Werner in the German language.
In addition to the scientific programme, which is the core of the congress, pre-conference tours will take you to Munich and through Bavaria to discover breathtaking places full of history and beauty.
